Take a look at the label of your favorite yoga, fitness or equestrian leggings. Polyester and spandex, right? After making the same discovery I began researching and what I found was alarming. Harmful chemicals, microplastic pollution and a mind boggling amount of waste and pollution. Plus a slew of ethical concerns.

As a yoga teacher, equestrian and outdoor enthusiast I have been wearing these synthetic fabrics for decades not realizing that I’m basically wearing a skin-tight plastic water bottle that is harmful to me and the rest of the planet. I believe we deserve better and we can do better, together.
